Diets have a 90 per cent failure rate. Diets create at situation of semi starvation in a person, resulting in symptoms of irritability, loss of stamina and deprived behaviour around food creating such behaviour as lying, hoarding and stealing food.
It is easy to lose weight and keep it off for life by reprogramming your own mind.
When under hypnosis the following suggestions are made.
* Eat when you are truly hungry.
*Try drinking water first as often you are only thirsty
If you over ride your body’s natural call for food you alter your metabolism and it less food goes in or more exercise is done your body will conserve energy and you become lethargic and irritable and possibly mild depression develops.
*Eat what you want not what you think you should eat or want.
There are no forbidden foods
*Eat without any distractions and enjoy every mouthful. Eat slowly and chew all your food.
Eat whatever you want so long as you are enjoying every mouthful.
*When you think you are full. Stop eating. Leave the food on the plate.
Work with your body and mind. That satisfied feeling takes time to trigger off in your brain so eat slowly and listen for the full feeling.
*Make exercise easy by doing a little extra every day
‘no effort , no gain; a little effort, tremendous gain.’
The difference between overweight and a healthy weight can be around walking 285 extra steps a day.
